Employees must immediately (or "as soon as practicable") notify their supervisors of any injury.

How much money will I earn off on a work-related injury/disease?
An employee who sustains a work-related injury or disease and is unable to work after a waiting period of seven (7) days is entitled to income benefits which are calculated as 66 2/3 percent of his/her average weekly wage up to a maximum which varies by state.
